Who uses Inner Compass
Visitors arrive through high-intent searches — people who have already decided to explore psychedelic therapy and are comparing their options. This is not a general wellness audience; it's a research audience at the bottom of the consideration funnel.
Three ways to work with us
Pricing is tiered by category: retreat centers (international) at $150–$200/month, Oregon/Colorado service centers at $75–$125/month, ketamine clinics at $100–$150/month. Referral rates are negotiated individually based on average booking value. We're a small, independent site — we'd rather have a few good partners than a lot of mediocre ones.
What every partner must meet
Partner status does not lower the vetting bar. Every paid listing must meet the same criteria as our editorial listings — because our audience's trust is what makes the directory worth advertising in.
Licensed or operating legally in jurisdiction
For Oregon/Colorado: OHA or DORA licensing required. For retreats: operating legally in country of operation (Jamaica, Netherlands, Mexico, etc.). For ketamine clinics: physician supervision and state medical board compliance.
Medical screening before sessions
Documented medical and psychiatric intake screening. For ibogaine: ECG and cardiac screening required. For MDMA/psilocybin: psychiatric history and medication review required. No exceptions for partner listings.
Trained facilitators with verifiable credentials
Facilitators must be able to document training from recognized programs (MAPS, Fluence, CIIS, Oregon OHA-approved, or equivalent). "Self-trained" or "apprentice-only" backgrounds without formal certification don't qualify.
Preparation and integration included
Retreat or session packages must include documented preparation and integration support — not just the medicine session itself. This is the mechanism through which therapeutic benefit is sustained. Ceremony-only offerings without integration are not accepted.
No misleading therapeutic claims
Partner listings must not make unsubstantiated cure claims, guarantee outcomes, or make medical claims that aren't supported by the current evidence base. We will not list providers whose marketing contradicts the evidence we present elsewhere on the site.
Verifiable reviews and references
We check publicly available reviews and may contact past participants as part of vetting. New centers without a track record may be listed at editorial level first, and upgrade to partner status once a review history is established.
Our disclosure policy
All paid partner listings are clearly marked with a ◆ Partner badge and labeled as sponsored placements. Our content — the medicine guides, safety information, conditions research, glossary, and editorial commentary — is not influenced by partner relationships. Partners cannot request changes to or removal of unflattering content about their category of medicine. The distinction between what we're paid to show and what we believe is the one thing we won't compromise.
Inner Compass does not sell advertising to pharmaceutical companies or allow sponsored content that misrepresents evidence. This policy applies regardless of the size of the relationship.
