✦ Provider Directory

Find a qualified
guide or therapist

This page is an honest directory hub — not a fake database. We link you to the real, verified places where qualified providers actually list themselves, with context on what each directory covers and who it's best for.

All links on this page have been manually verified and are working. We don't maintain our own provider database — we point you to the directories that do.

What are you looking for?

Different situations call for different directories. Select what fits you and we'll surface the most relevant resources.

🌀
For integration support: start with Psychedelic Support or Fluence
Integration therapists work with people who've had experiences in any context — clinical, ceremonial, or unplanned. Psychedelic Support and the Fluence directory below have the largest pools of integration-trained therapists. Many offer telehealth so location isn't a barrier. The MAPS Integration List is particularly strong for MDMA and trauma-focused work. If the experience was difficult or destabilizing, contact Fireside Project first — free peer support available right now by call or text.
💉
For ketamine therapy: we have a dedicated page with 24 vetted US clinics
Ketamine is legal everywhere, works in hours not weeks, and Spravato is covered by many insurance plans. Our Ketamine Centers page lists 24 vetted US clinics across 8 regions with insurance guidance and cost breakdowns. For individual KAP therapists, the Fluence directory below specializes in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy providers.
🍄
For licensed psilocybin: use the official government directories below
Oregon and Colorado are the only US states with licensed psilocybin services. The Oregon OHA Licensee Directory and Colorado DORA Facilitator Lookup in the Government Lookups section below are the official state sources — every facilitator there has passed background checks, completed approved training, and holds an active license. Always cross-reference any Oregon or Colorado facilitator in these databases.
💊
For MDMA therapy: clinical trials are currently the main legal US pathway
MDMA-assisted therapy was not approved by the FDA in 2024 — the primary legal access point in the US is through clinical trials, which provide treatment free of charge. Search ClinicalTrials.gov for open MDMA+PTSD trials. The MAPS Integration List connects you with MAPS-trained therapists who can provide preparation and integration support. In Australia, MDMA therapy is formally approved — see our Retreat Directory.
🌿
For retreat prep & integration: establish a therapist relationship before you book
The most important thing you can do before an international retreat is find an integration therapist in advance. Psychedelic Support and the Fluence directory both have therapists who specifically offer retreat preparation and post-retreat integration — look for those terms in their profiles. Our Retreat Directory covers 34 vetted centers across 11 countries if you're still choosing a retreat.

Free, immediate, no appointment needed. These organizations offer peer-based support — not clinical therapy.

Official government sources

Licensed facilitator lookups — Oregon & Colorado

The only government-maintained directories of licensed psilocybin facilitators in the US. If you're in these states, start here before anywhere else.

🏛

Why these matter more than any third-party directory

Any facilitator in a third-party directory can claim training they don't have. But a facilitator in the OHA or DORA database has passed a background check, completed a state-approved training program of 150+ hours, passed a competency exam, and holds an active state license. That's a meaningfully higher bar. Always cross-reference any Oregon or Colorado facilitator in these databases before committing to a session.

Oregon Psilocybin Services Licensee Directory
The official OHA directory of licensed psilocybin service centers and facilitators in Oregon. Filter by "Service Center" or "Facilitator." Participation is optional — not every licensed operator lists here — but those who do are verified by the Oregon Health Authority.

Your checklist

How to evaluate any provider

Use this before committing to any guide, therapist, or clinic — regardless of where you found them.

✓ Green flags
Can name their specific training program, institution, and year — and you can verify it
Requires multiple preparation sessions before any medicine session
Active clinical supervision or peer consultation structure
Welcomes all your questions openly and without defensiveness
Written informed consent document and stated ethics policy
Structured post-session integration support — not just one session and done
Clear emergency protocol if something goes wrong during a session
✗ Red flags — walk away
Cannot clearly describe training, credentials, or supervision structure
Skips or minimizes preparation — wants to go straight to medicine
Guarantees specific outcomes ("this will cure your depression")
Pressures you to proceed before you feel ready
Any romantic, sexual, or boundary-crossing behavior
Discourages you from seeing your regular mental health providers
Prices dramatically above market with no transparency
Interview toolkit

8 questions to ask any provider

A good provider will welcome these. Defensiveness or vagueness is itself informative.

01
"What is your training background, and where did you receive it? Are you currently under supervision or peer consultation?"
02
"How many sessions have you facilitated? What is your experience with people who have my specific condition or history?"
03
"Walk me through what happens before, during, and after a session. What does your preparation process look like?"
04
"What do you do if a session becomes very difficult or frightening? How do you support someone through a challenging experience?"
05
"What is your ethics policy around physical contact, dual relationships, and client confidentiality? Is it in writing?"
06
"What integration support do you offer after sessions? How long do you work with clients after the medicine work?"
07
"Do you have any concerns about working with my specific history, medications, or mental health conditions?"
08
"What outcomes have you typically seen in people with conditions similar to mine? How do you measure whether the work was successful?"

Can't afford treatment? Clinical trials are free.

Participating in a clinical trial is often the only way to legally access psilocybin or MDMA in the US — and treatment is provided free of charge under full medical supervision. Trials are currently enrolling for depression, PTSD, addiction, OCD, and end-of-life anxiety.
